Perform processing & high level disinfection of routine upper & lower endoscopes and high level disinfection of non-disposable equipment.
Operate equipment for processing and high level disinfection of equipment including performing daily quality control and maintains accurate documentation.
Maintain properly functioning equipment & communicates problems / issues with supervisor.
Assist in troubleshooting routine GI endoscopy equipment; problem solve equipment problems quickly & efficiently.
Maintain and assist with operation of endoscope towers and image recording systems to ensure proper documentation of procedures.
Notifies supervisor of equipment repair needs and helps coordinate necessary repairs with Clinical Engineering; assist nurses or physicians by obtaining supplies during procedures.
Put stock away in appropriate areas in a timely manner.
Keep supply areas neat, clean and organized, by keeping stock off the floor and in their designated areas.
Restock santization room supplies.
Schedule:
Days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 8AM - 5PM At least 1 year of scope saniziting experience required.
